Abstract: High karat gold (22karat and 24karat) jewelleries are attractive among newlinepeoples of Asia and Indian subcontinent. In India the consumers buy 24karat gold newline(99.99wt.% pure) in the form of coins and biscuits for investment purpose. But 22karat newlinegold (91.7wt.% pure) is highly preferred for jewellery due to their relatively good newlinehardness and strength than 24karat gold. The colour and lustre of 22karat gold (bright newlineyellow), which is similar to 24karat gold is also a reason newline
