Perimenopause symptoms newlineare the bases for healthcare providers and public health personnel to enable appropriate newlinehealthcare, including improving the physiological and psychological makeup of women. newlineObjective: To study age at menopause along with its health consequences and socio- newlineeconomic determinants affecting the quality of life. newlineMethodology: Cross-sectional study has been carried out from October 2016 to April 2017 newlineto investigate factors affecting perimenopausal age and their symptoms using Proportional newlineto Population Size (PPS) Inverse Cluster Sampling. A total of 712 perimenopausal women newlinein the age group of 40-55 years, including 550 menopausal and 40 Surgically Induced newlineMenopause (SIM) women were analyzed for age at menopause by life table method and newlinesymptoms of menopause, effects of household and individual characteristics by using Cox newlineproportional hazard model and Logistic Regression Analysis newline
