Abstract: | The term employee engagement is being significant in the corporate world as its being increasing the employee potentiality and employer productivity. The main aim of the present study is to explore how the engaged employees improve the efficiency of the organisation and the kind of support and the methodology of the public sector and private sector banks in engaging their human assets. newline newlineThe present study focus is to measure employee engagement cognitively, emotionally and physically in both public sector and private sector banks. The active Employee Engagement is determinantal in promoting turnover, productivity, security, locality, and profit of the organisation. In this study parameters refer to the elements that help in defining, comprehending and measuring employee engagement. newline newlineIt was found that the earlier studies concentrated more on drivers of employee engagement and outcomes of employment engagement parameters measurement and outcomes together. The study has explored and established that the high performance work culture system and the organizational HR factors play an important role in engaging of an employee. Literature review has proved that the level of employee engagement can be measured cognitively, emotionally and physically, and with respect to this no study has developed to fill such gaps. Literature exposed the absence of an employee engagement frame work through HPWC factors and more number of HR factors. The research gaps have been recognized and addressed through this study. newline newlineTo draw a scale for evaluating the employee engagement the researches has used the statistical tools like cronbach alpha scores (IBM SPSS 20), multiple regression analysis using a bio directional technique, ANOVA, correlation and factor analysis. newline newlineA relative conceptual framework was established for employee engagement to define the various factors which have direct influence on employee engagement and its outcomes. |
