Abstract: Over the past few years India s air pollution has been making headlines. At newlinethe same time, the country is also dealing with other kinds of pollution, such as newlineplastic and electronic waste. Further, India generates about two million tonnes of newlinee-waste annually, according to Global E-waste Monitor 2017 [1]. A recycling rate newlineof 10% in 2017-18 has risen to a little over 20% in 2018-19.In 2017, the Centre newlinebrought into effect the E-waste Rules, which require companies that make or sell newlineelectronic equipment to collect a certain percentage of e-waste generated from newlinetheir goods once they have reached their end of life [2] newline
