Abstract: | Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a self-organizing and dynamic network comprising of mobile nodes. Every participating node transmits the packets to some remote nodes using wireless transmission. The mobile nodes are restricted with limited bandwidth and energy. Due to the frequent mobility of nodes, routing in MANET is a challenging task. In addition, the routes which create the path between the source node and destination might become uneven, which leads to delay in transmission that results in congestion in the network. Therefore, the implementation of several routing protocols for communication helps to select the suitable path, transmit the data in the selected path and maintains the route in node mobility. One of the major challenges observed in mobile ad hoc networks is congestion control and load balancing which is caused due to the non-uniform allocation of nodes. In certain situation, few nodes in the ad hoc network are overloaded and other nodes in the same network are completely idle. The main objective of this research work is to overcome the issues stated above by implementing a congestion control, load equalized and secure message transmission protocol. Several routing issues are considered to identify the right path to send the packets. Selecting the path with minimal congestion, transmitting the data on the path with minimal packet loss, maintaining the route from link failures and node failures are the tasks considered in the proposed system. Path segmentation along with multipath routing is a scheme to dispense the information packets of a particular stream in several routes by calculating the quality parameters. The core idea in segment routing is to break up the routing path into segments in order to enable better network utilization. Splitting the congestion and sending through different paths improved weight equalization, fault lenience, and improved comprehensive bandwidths. The segmentation of congestion is also helpful in minimizing the traffic in the network and reduces the packet delay. Therefore, the proposed system enhances the consumption of network resources. newline |
