Abstract

Physical education provides children with learning opportunities through the medium of newlinemovement and contributes to their overall development by helping them to lead full, active newlineand healthy lives. Many have opined that Physical Education holds less importance in the day newlineto day academic life of many students. But the academic structure should be formulated in newlinesuch a way that it becomes a part of their daily academic routine. Physical education is the newlinemajor part of the education program for all students. A variety of physical activities learn by newlinethe students. It teaches students about how body move to perform a physical activity and newlinewhat are the health-related benefits for regular physical activities. By performing regular newlineactivity one can adopt a physically active, healthy lifestyle. The study could be one of its kinds of study to benchmark international standards of physical education to Indian population.
