dc.description.abstract | The depletion of fossil fuel and the emission of greenhouse gas have led to the newlineemergence of renewable energy. Sustainable energies such as wind, solar etc., are drawn newlinefrom natural sources and are available in abundant. They cause minimal damage to the newlineenvironment, thus becoming a clean source of energy. By shifting from conventional to newlinerenewable energy sources, the cost of energy bills can be reduced and make homes more newlineenvironment friendly and economical. Among all other renewable energy harnessing newlinetechniques, wind and solar are gaining more focus in India, especially in Tamil Nadu newlineregion. The southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu is one of the top nine markets globally to newlinehave achieved an exceptionally large share of renewable power generation, according to a newlinereport by US-based think-tank Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis newline(IEEFA). According to Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) Government of newlineIndia Report, Tamil Nadu leads all states in terms of installed wind energy capacity newline | |
