This research provides directions to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to practice and improve the standards of manufacturing for sustainability and to sustain the product of submersible pump. The scope of this research work is restricted to submersible pumps manufacturing for sustainability with respect to the field driven conditions. Studies on submersible pumps for incremental innovations on environmental standards with 360-degree approach of improving the submersible pumping system are carried out and possible development and directions for SME segments are provided to practice for sustainability. The objective of the thesis is to i. Propose metrics for improving submersible pump standards in SME environment with a special focus on sustainability. ii. Create an environmentally conscious design with respect to Field-Driven Conditions and Manufacturing Submersible Pump components iii. Create a possible incremental innovation on Submersible Pump components for sustainability This research work is restricted to Submersible Pumps manufacturing for sustainability with respect to the field driven conditions. Studies on Submersible Pumps with 360-degree approach for incremental innovations to the environmental standards are carried out. Iv Contributions to Submersible Pump Manufacturing Process Based on the previous studies on sustainability for submersible pump manufacturing process, this thesis proposed and studied metrics for sustainability confirming to the existing quality standards. newline
