Effect of Admixtures on Mechanical and Durability Properties of Coconut Shell Concrete

Abstract

Concrete is a combination of aggregates bonded together with cementitious materials. It is important to find alternate aggregates that can replace conventional aggregate thus protecting the natural resource. In general, any kind of waste can be used for finding alternative material. Also, addition of admixture in concrete may behave as pore arrestor and improve the properties of concrete.
