Abstract: Concrete is a combination of aggregates bonded together with cementitious materials. It is important to find alternate aggregates that can replace conventional aggregate thus protecting the natural resource. In general, any kind of waste can be used for finding alternative material. Also, addition of admixture in concrete may behave as pore arrestor and improve the properties of concrete. This research focused on the evaluation of performance of coconut shell (CS) as coarse aggregate and also some admixtures replaced in its place of cement in the production of coconut shell concrete (CSC) newline
