Abstract: Presence of toxic heavy metal ions in the natural aquatic system is seriously threatened the humans and other species of the earth. Hence special attention is needed to recognize the existence of these ions in the environment. Even though there are lots of conventional techniques available for the detection of metal ions, many of them requires sophisticated instruments, trained technicians and not adaptable to onsite sampling analysis. The main objective of this research work is to find out a solution for these drawbacks and design a new strategy for the recognition of heavy metal which is economical, facile and can be handled by a common man in the society newline
