Abstract: The problem addressed in the research study is to find a relationship between the behavioral patterns of the children and their working conditions living in the slums of the Delhi. Physical issues related to child labour are visible to all but the psychological issues are like hidden seeds. They may blow up during the course of time and impact not only the personality of the individual child labour who is working but to his family, peers, society at large. newlineAs a part of the study, comparisons have been made between the child labour and school going children from the same socioeconomic background, in this case the Delhi slums. Behavior patterns were categorized as the emotional difficulties, social conduct issues, hyper-activeness, problems related to their peer relations and pro-social behavior. In order to explore these different behavioral dimensions, the explorative approach was adopted. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were adopted as the methodology newline
