dc.description.abstract | SHRM is a process of developing practices, programmes and policies which helps to the organisational objectives. It is otherwise alignment of organisational strategies with essential programmes, policies and practices. Organisational commitment (OC) is defined as a strong desire to survive as a member of a particular organisation, a willingness to contribute more efforts to their organisational beliefs and also acceptance of the organisational goals and values. The main aim of the thesis is to analyse the impact of Strategic HRM (SHRM) Practices on Organisational Commitment, with special focus on Perception of Employees of Automobile Companies in and around Chennai City. The problem statement relies on the Employees Perception on the factors influencing their Commitment level. Both Analytical and Descriptive type of methodology used in this study. Pilot study done with 50 respondents and Primary data collected by using well framed Questionnaire with 513 respondents by way of Multi-stage convenient sampling method. newline | |
