Abstract: Recently the hybrid network has received considerable attention owing to the multimedia data delivery The primary purpose of incorporating the ad hoc networks with cellular networks to improve the efficiency of data dissemination and Device to Device D2D communication The critical challenge of disseminating data over a hybrid network is to select the mode of operation between the cellular and ad hoc interfaces effectively The limiting factors of the hybrid network communication efficiency are cellular coverage and interference due to the highly loaded base station To solve those issues this research work proposes two approaches such as efficient data dissemination and D2D communication protocols named as Adaptive Data Dissemination ADD algorithm and Hybrid network model for effective D2D Communication HDC opportunistic routing protocol The initial approach is ADD algorithm that divides the entire network into small clusters and selects cluster head by applying link worth function It partitions the transmission range of a base station into two regions such as interior and exterior The interior region is nearer to the base station while the exterior constitutes the border region of the coverage area of the base station The ADD approach enables the cluster heads in the interior region to select the cellular mode and retrieve the data from the base station directly The cluster head in the exterior region initially selects the ad hoc mode for communication and later on selects the cellular mode when the demanding data is unavailable at the neighboring cluster newline
