Renewable Energy Sources (RES) plays an energetic role in power generation, due to rapidly emerging forebodings on energy sustainability. The demand of growing countries like India is growing by leaps and bounds. Energy from Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) system meets the energy requirement through some extent due to its advantages like abundant availability in nature, provides clean and pollution free energy with less running and maintenance cost. The SPV system that can supply electricity to individual consumers or to community was termed as stand-alone system or grid connected system respectively. It was also consumed as hybrid with the other RES. The installing cost of SPV system is high, due to this it is essential to extract the maximum power from the system. But the efficiency of an SPV system is highly determined by some factors like, non-homo generous materials, non-symmetric lattice leads to the mismatch conditions. The non-homogeneous characteristics of the cells, meagre maintenance on the frontal part of the cells, the dilapidation of the cell prospering layer, the engineering defects, the possible breach of the cells and uneven radiation of the cell (partial shading effects) causes these mismatch conditions. Materials are chosen based on the applications orientation, which handled at the time of manufacturing the cells, modules or arrays. Thus acquired power with the cell is very less. To increase the power, these cells are connected either in series or in parallel to form a module or an array. The various reason for partial shading conditions such as passing clouds, reduced in irradiance level of sun, shadowing due to nearby building, trees or some poles used for communication or transmission lines. Under such conditions, the SPV system unveils its characteristics with multiple peaks point with loss and ripples in its output. newline
