The most recently viewed Zinc oxide ZnO nano materials plays a crucial role in the various fields owing to its precious applications for their incredible optical electrical mechanical thermal and structural properties Zinc oxide ZnO Titanium dioxides TiO2 Silver Copper gold gallium nano particles and their nano composites belongs to inorganic nano structured materials Among these nano materials ZnO is an ideal material which exhibits semiconducting piezo electric and pyro electrical properties It possess wide band gap energy 3 37eV with large excitation binding energy 60 meV Due to their versatile properties ZnO materials were focused on various remarkable applications such as UV absorber UV light emitting device sun screens photo catalysis and catalyst solar cells gas sensors piezoelectric devices optoelectronics acoustic transducers and anti reflection coatings The various metal oxide semiconductors such as TiO2 ZnO WO3 Fe2O3 Bi2O3 are extensively studied as photo catalyst Apart from these metal oxides ZnO have been attracting as an innovative photo catalyst because of its wide band gap energy and also with its eco friendly nature Hence the present work is focused on synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles and nanocomposites for photocatalytic activities of dye degradation There are three types of ZnO nanoparticles are prepared Initially pure ZnO nano crystals and then single metal doped ZnO nanoparticles At last co doped ZnO nano composites were synthesized newline
