Abstract: | Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the promising paradigms through which human development growth increased rapidly for the past decade. The IoT is a new revolution of internet that connects the physical things to communicate with each other. The IoT consist of a network of all physical objects such as home appliances, vehicles, buildings, and animals, among others. A wide range of applications in industry, medical, business, agriculture etc. have made IoT the most accepted paradigm. The IoT provides solutions by collaborating pervasive, ubiquitous, and wireless technologies. It consists of sensor embedded things which are connected over internet. These connected devices collect and share data in the network. The data coming from heterogeneous devices is monitored and analyzed for different applications. IoT has increasingly employed in different technologies to accomplish a task. Though smart environments are deploying in almost all areas like agriculture, industry, business, health care, engineering etc. security issues are identified. Sensors, actuators and the internet are the basic building block of an IoT system. Sensors which collects data is embedded into the device. Typically, these devices are having low processing and computing power. Security is identified as one of the major challenges in any IoT ecosystem since it is vulnerable to various attacks. The conventional security triad of Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) is applicable to smart networks as well newline |
