Abstract: | Since the 90 s systems of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) have been implemented by many businesses across the world. Businesses have witnessed a surge in performance and better ROI and competitive advantage due to the benefits of ERP. This system helps to provide information on all functions within an organization, across organizations and geography resulting in better decision making and solution finding. ERP is the integration of processes with IT technology to achieve business objectives. It is a combination of IT, processes and business goals. It is a set of multiple software applications integrated under a common interface. It may go beyond the company s boundaries and integrate with clients and partners software for better supply chain management. Hence it is complex software and is customized to suit individual business requirements and therefore is expensive and time consuming to design and implement. newlineThe present study emphasized to understand more about the critical success factors such as team work and composition, top management support, business plan and vision, effective communication and project management. Further, the study focused to identify the moderating impact of system integration over the concerned ERP factors on ERP implementation. The researcher collected the required samples of the study from various companies which are using either SAP or Oracle of various types of manufacturing such as Core, Process and Discrete manufacturing firms which are located in different states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Haryana newlineResearcher applied the appropriate statistical techniques such as Hayes (2016) moderation analysis to know the moderation impact of system integration over the critical factors of ERP and ERP implementation. |
