Abstract: The study investigates themes of flourishing, work engagement, Nishkam karma newlinein the context of shifting social values and fast evolving technological trends. The newlinefocus is to contribute to literature that directs consideration of the nishkam karma as a newlinepersonal spiritual resource to enhance work engagement and flourishing among newlineindividuals, organizations and society. newlineGiven the gaps in research and literature, this study models the sequential newlinerelationship between nishkam karma, work engagement and flourishing. newlineThe study adopts a post positivist research paradigm, and uses a quantitative newlineresearch design for large sample size (n = 451). Convenience and snowball sampling newlinetechniques are used for data gathering with clearly defined inclusion and exclusion newlinecriteria. Well validated questionnaires from previous research are used in the study. newlineSEM technique is used for data analysis. newlineThe study finds significant and positive relationship between nishkam karma and newlinework engagement, work engagement and flourishing. It also finds that money ethics newlinedoes not moderate the relationship between work engagement and flourishing. newlineFrom a theoretical perspective, the study adds and furthers understanding on the newlinehigher order constructs of nishkam karma, work engagement and flourishing. From a newlinepractical perspective, it support previous studies on the need to consider the spiritual newlinerealm as an important factors in improving work engagement levels and flourishing newlineamong individuals and consequently enhancing organizational flourishing.Limitations of the study are discussed and pointers to future directions for newlineresearch are shared. newline
