Presently efficient and accessible energy conversion is the potent key that has much influence on economic growth and the development of the global nations Compared with various sources of energy conversion devices the conventional diesel engine is treated as the foremost efficient conversion device owing to its superior compression ratio thermal efficiency automobile application farming ships agriculture etc Apart from the merits diesel engine also produces much more hazardous emissions like soot carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide oxides of nitrogen particulate matter and other forms of emission Moreover the demand for fossil fuel also elevated to a higher extent So for this critical issue alternate fuels like vegetable seed and algae based oil are chosen for the betterment of the environment which also generates minor problems while used in a diesel engine For this strong reason this research work is conducted using lemongrass biofuel in the diesel engine Also this alternate fuel creates some problems in diesel engines like clogging improper ignition delay error in fuel injection minimal form of combustion in diesel engines reduced thermal efficiency and tailpipe emission To solve this drawback raised the world wide researchers suggested that the alteration in the diesel engine can act as an incredible answer for this glitch Based on this statement the engine used for this research is altered as a low heat rejection engine with modification in injection and pressure newline
