In recent years, natural fibers with polymer composites are very useful in the field of research, engineering and science and it is used as an alternative reinforcement for conventional composite. Natural fibers are strong, light weight, relatively cheap in cost and have excellent properties like high specific strength, low weight, non-abrasive, eco-friendly and biodegradable. Generally used natural fibers like jute, sisal, banana, hemp, etc , the reuse of waste natural fiber reinforcement of polymer is a sustainable option for the environment. The polymeric matrix materials along with suitable natural fiber reinforcement create strong interaction between matrix and reinforcement. This enables to develop polymeric composites which show great prospective applications of marine structures, buildings, automotive, aerospace and packaging industries. The research work mainly focuses on building the marine structures with natural fiber composites. The marine structure includes ships, submarines; mechanized fishing boat, canoe etc. were used. In this research, mechanized fishing boats and canoe were utilized. The canoe is fully made up of glass fiber composites, which has a toxic nature. This toxic nature causes health issues to the manufacturer, fisherman and destroys the marine species. The mechanized boat ice and fish storage area were also made up of this glass fiber composites. The deck house and the floor are made up of pure form of wood. The work aims to reduce the deforestation and toxic nature in the glass fiber composites which is utilized in marine structure. The main occupation of the fisherman is fishing. newline
