Abstract: | Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have attracted a lot of interest over the last decade in wireless and mobile computing research community. Applications of WSNs are numerous and growing, which range from indoor deployment scenarios in the home and office to outdoor deployment in adversary s territory in a tactical battleground. However, due to distributed nature and their deployment in remote areas, these networks are vulnerable to numerous security threats that can adversely affect their performance. Due to the vulnerable attacks, WSN become an insecure environment, which has been executed on several nodes by attackers. Black hole, Sybil, Spoofing and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks are some of the attacks, that are proceed at the routing level. DoS attack is the most important security challenge in the above mentioned attacks. So, for developing a new secure routing protocol to secure the WSN, many research works has been carried out. Further, the author proposes a new energy efficient routing algorithm, which saves energy by identifying and preventing security attacks. When nodes involve in malicious activities, the energy consumption problem in WSN occurs. Therefore, by preventing the malicious activities the energy of sensor nodes can be saved. It is necessary to provide a secured path for providing a secure communication, in such a way that the proposed path can be recognized by computing the trust, which identifies the genuineness of the participating nodes. Energy efficient routing protocols were proposed here with the concern of malicious activities happening on the network. This is achieved by introducing the novel technique to accomplish with the help of energy concerned routing, which is performed with successful data transmission. For successful data transmission, in this research work, the author brought-in the Energy and network connectivity concerned Ad hoc On- Demand Distance Vector Protocol (ENC-AODV). newline |
