Abstract: In the present thesis the investigator has compiled the results of 50 educable mental retardates who were conducted through various techniques of behaviour modification therapy These subjects were with in the age group of 14 to 16 with an newlineI Q ranging between 5O to 7O points and S Q ranging between 80 to 90 points The preliminary investigation was carried over newlineon 1980 high and higher secondary subjects of Srinagar city and its neighbouring schools For the purpose of preliminary newlinescreening cattells culture fair intelligence test was administered With the help of this test only those subjects were considered whose I Q was found to be 55 and below
