Y newlineThe study area concern by Vindhyan Sandstone, Limstone and Shale. A Dynamic groundwater resource of the block has been estimated for base year 2017-2018 on Rewa block. Groundwater recharge from total rainfall in monsoon season was 6754.97 ha-m or 111.54 mm and non-monsoon season was 806 ha-m or 13.31 mm and from other resource in monsoon and non-monsoon season was 665.52 ha-m or 9.45 mm and 3317.56 ha-m or 47.11 mm, respectively. The study showed that geospatial approach is an efficient tool for exploring and managing the spatial information such as land use land cover, forest cover, geomorphology, geology, ground water. Analysis the impact of anthropogenic activities and natural resource management. It has provided an efficient environment to integrate various thematic layers and exploration of the suitable sites for the groundwater recharge and agro-forestry management for the Rewa block, Vindhyan region. It is suggested that the incorporation of high resolution digital elevation model like DPOT (~2) and advanced techniques liked unmanned Arial vehicle could be effective for natural resource management. The high resolution satellite data and advanced instrumentation could be helpful for making of smart cities and also for the effective planning and management. This study revealed that the geospatial technology is a valuable tool for spatial decision making and could be helpful for the sustainable development planning for any region. The integration of the geospatial technique with advanced technologies and extensive field survey is recommended for the regular monitoring of natural resources to maintain the sustainability of region. newline
