Abstract: The present study was designed to examine the mental imagery and goal-setting in relation to flow state among female athletes of different sports. The study examined whether female college level athletes were aware about the application and importance of psychological interventions for performance enhancement in a specific sport. The present study may disclose the extent to which variables, flow, mental imagery and galsetting may influence the performance of athletes. The findings of the study will help coaches and trainers to sketch out the training and coaching schedule by including various psychological interventions. newline
