Abstract: In recent days there is a rapid growth of network usage. The urge of data has increased drastically by the users, and the data is accessed through various means like internet, smartphones and other electronic gadgets. Due to the increase in accessing data, International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has improved the standards for communication every decade and only a few top countries like United States, Japan, and China adopt the latest technology for their countries to solve the user s needs. In general, there is an increase in need of data day by day, and there is a scarcity of resource to satisfy the user s needs. With the limited resource, the data needs to be transferred which causes congestion, data loss, delay in delivery. To overcome these issues, researchers have proposed plenty of algorithms. Since the data usage has been increasing; the existing algorithms are not able to withstand and need an enhancement to satisfy the present and future demand which motivates to proceed towards the research in congestion control and avoidance mechanism. The research mainly comprises of three stages; the first proposed algorithm is Enhanced AODV (EAODV) which is the improved version of the popular on-demand routing algorithm AODV. The second algorithm is congestion control using Enhanced Blue algorithm, and the final work is congestion control using Elastic Routing Table (ERT). All the three algorithms are analyzed with four different network parameters, throughput, an end to end delay, packet delivery ratio and packet loss. The comparison of all these algorithms is carried out to identify the effective and best among these three algorithms newline
