Abstract: newline Mobile Ad hoc Networks MANETs are widely preferred nowadays due to its ability to connect nodes without specific infrastructure which would be a boon to adverse communication devices In general Ad hoc named from a Latin phrase which denotes for this Ad hoc networks are opted mainly for military regime disaster rescue mission and for commercial travel agencies Ad hoc networks represent a collection of communication wireless nodes that interacts without a specific infrastructure such as access point and base stations The discrepancies in MANET s can be mitigated to measurable level by constructing powerful routing algorithms which in turn supports usage of femtocells in MANET architecture Femtocells acts as small low powered based stations The femtocells can be installed similar to that of a Wi Fi Wireless Fidelity router Femtocells are the modern day base stations that incur less cost for their installation which accomplish radio access interface with user equipment They provide better network capacity and improved spectral efficiency Improving quality of service for femtocell is the need for the ongoing researches The initiative of deployment of femtocell in MANETs will also be a boon to network sector with greater advantages Bandwidth Scarcity is a significant problem in the wireless systems due to the massive growth of users There will be a trade off between complexity and efficiency when there is a selection of an interference management approaches in femtocells Interference management plays a key role in developing network related algorithms and creating hybrid environments comprising of MANETs and femtocells newline newline newline
