Abstract: This research is an endeavour to study the impact of visionary literature in newlineintroducing elevator speech strategies for professional purposes. Technologically newlineadvanced world of today and the era of Articial Intelligence have resulted in the newlineneed for equipping oneself with elevator speech strategies for conveying their ideas newlinein a persuading way. The training resources are selected from visionary literature newlineincorporating the rhetorical elements like ethos, pathos, logos and kairos along with newlinePareto principles and persuasive devices which is found relating to the characteristics of elevator speech strategies. A module with ten activities is formulated to analyse the impact of visionary literature in introducing elevator speech strategies. Pre-test and post-test are conducted and the time taken by the learners to answer the activity based questions are calculated using the designed application software. The target learners for the present research are the students pursuing nal year Under Graduation (UG) courses from four Arts and Science colleges in four districts of Tamilnadu, India namely Coimbatore, Chennai, Salem and Kanya Kumari. Questionnaires, designed for the students, HR personnel and Educationalists are validated by subject experts. Student Achievement Motivation Scale - a standardized tool designed by Shah Beena a renowned Psychologist in 1988 is also used to understand the motivation level of the students. The questionnaire prepared for the students focuses on their personal prole, social background along with the questions to analyse the needs and awareness towards better oral communication skill for employability purposes. Data analysis is done using SPSS and the results are analysed and discussed using descriptive analysis and differential analysis. The results of the investigation nd that there is a signicant relationship between elevator speech strategies and different variables like gender, medium of study, board of study, first generation learners and graduates and other sociological factors.
