Abstract: | A wireless sensor network is built by spatially spreading devices communicating wirelessly, collecting information and detecting events in environmental conditions. It is basically described as a network of nodes that cooperatively sense and may control the environment, enabling interaction between persons or computers and the surrounding environment sensor networks often operate in environments with harsh conditions. For the past few years, wireless sensor network has been applied in various fields and mostly in environment monitoring applications. Environmental monitoring is the main autonomy which may contribute large effects. The unstable weather conditions recently demonstrated how important a deep understanding of our surroundings and its development is for human being. Such a kind of environmental detection is addressed here. Sudden rush of large quantity like landslide in hill area is a kind of a geological disaster occurs in a slap dash due to the variations in environmental actions and causes damages in human lives, and their surroundings. During the rainy days, not alike subdivisions of India are affected by the landslide natural hazard every year. In this situation wireless sensor networks place a important role to monitoring the wide area with many numbers of nodes and extending without interruption to collect the data, processing and aggregation is required for landslide detection. The wireless sensor network technology has been developed rapidly for landslide predictions newline |
