dc.description.abstract | Heaters are handling units which are applied in chemical plants for heating purposes The heating of tanks is a general industrial practice in several usages Usage of energy in cost-effective approach of consummate in heaters by employing an advanced process control schemes which contribute to reduce the usage of energy in chemical plants In industries the continuous stirred tank heater CSTH is mainly utilized for maintain the heat The industry requires the certain temperature to preserve the chemical composition in a specific condition Recently the CSTH is extensively used in the applications of cement plant food processing chemical industries and refineries In this equipment the fluid inside the tank is heated by rotating the fuel inside the jacket or coil In general the chemical industries include the processing elements such as heat exchangers tanks pumps and reactors In traditionapl work different controlling methods are available for controlling and maintaining the temperature of CSTH The models which is used to design the PID controller as trial error and heuristic Moreover various approaches are utilized for controlling CSTH which includes PID adaptive and Internal Mode Control IMC based PID It provides an automated control system for increasing the efficiency reducing the man power and operating cost Some controllers are integrated with the soft computing methodologies for increasing the performance In existing the PID controller is applied to control the CSTH for scheming the gain of the tank Generally the CSTH is fine tripped for maintaining the equal temperature in both input and output sides In this research work established an effective controlling system for preserving the temperature of continuous stirred tank heater Developing an efficient controller for controlling and maintaining the continuous stirred tank heater is a demanding and crucial process in recent days newline | |
