Abstract: Insulation of transformer is the most important thing to resist the flow of current. Typical insulation of solid and the liquids are used in the transformer to dissipate the heat energy and provide the coolant service to the transformers. In previous years, the mineral oils are used for this purpose, and now a days those materials are converted into the vegetable oils. In this research, palm oil is used as an insulating oil reason for choosing palm oil is that it has a wide composition of fatty acid including wide range of carbon which provides better stability comparing other oils, which can also provide the sufficient insulation to the transformers. Most of the transformers are oil filled type which resembles an insulation system; characteristics of palm oil are almost same as that of the nontoxic ester oil. At first the palm oil is heated using thermal treatment to remove the moisture content and then it is cooled. This modified palm oil improves the performance and it is also used for electrical benefits. In this research partial discharge pattern analysis of palm oil for optimized transformer insulation applications , the palm-based oils are used as a dielectric material. The main aim of this research work is to design a magnetic core tesla transformer using elephant herding optimization algorithm. The design procedures includes the rectangular ultra-wide band magnetic core Tesla transformer, in which the coupling coefficient has become the popular one, it can be obtained through the elephant herding optimization algorithm being this two update vectors are processed. This processing is done using clan updating and clan separating operator. The iteration process can yield the optimal value which is attained for the coupling ratio newline
