Abstract: | This thesis reports the various studies on fault-tolerant non-fragile observer-based control in dynamical systems. Several sufficient conditions are used for the stability and stabilization of the considered dynamical systems. This study involves vibration control of structural systems via robust non-fragile sampled-data control scheme. Furthermore, extended dissipativity-based non-fragile control for multi-area power systems with actuator fault and design of observer-based non-fragile load frequency control for power systems with electric vehicles has been discussed. Moreover, time-varying fault-tolerant control for uncertain semi-Markovian jump systems with actuator saturation via finite-time approach has been studied. Finally, observer-based robust Hand#8734; non-fragile control with memory state feedback control for seismic-excited buildings are also discussed. The results for the above mentioned systems are obtained using Lyapunov stability theory, Jensens integral inequality, Wirtinger-based inequalities and linear matrix inequality. Each chapter illustrates the efficiency of the proposed control design technique with numerical examples and simulation results. newline |
