Amino acid compound have played a significant role in the development of technologically important materials since these elements are recognized for their structural optical and physical properties Most of the amino acids view polymorphism and crystallize into more than one crystalline form Polymorphism characterized as chemical substances often displays the ability to crystallize in more than one structural form and these different forms Polymorphism plays a main role in as pharmaceutical chemical food and optoelectronics industries Controlling polymorphism is of significant interest in fields for example solid state chemistry materials science and pharmacology also other applications L glutamic acid is one of the non essential amino acids Its crystals have two polymorphs metastable granular and#945; and stable needle like form From this point of view of the manufacturing crystallization and#945; form is preferable in shape to the form because of their better separability form of the mother liquor The basic operational conditions such as temperature stirring rates and supersaturation are fundamental essential controlling accepts of polymorphism In addition factors such as solvents and additives are also affecting the polymorphism Using some additives to control the polymorphs occur and#945; form to suppers the and#946; form Glutamic acid was unique antioxidant capacity to remove free radicals protecting cells from damage to DNA and gene that can put off the cancer process It is used as a conjugate because it increases the value of the anticancer drug and decreases its toxicity toward regular cells newline
