Abstract: | We are living in the age of information. It is a progressive, forceful and unending newlineresource that affects all disciplines of life in some way or other. Over the last few newlinedecades, electronic resources have become increasingly substantial components of newlineacademic library collection. This is due to rapid development of information newlinetechnology and its impact on library collection development polices due to changing newlinedemand of users for the pinpointed and exhaustive information within a short time. newlineThis has compelled libraries to rethink about their collection development functioning newlineInformation Technology completely changed the library environment from newlinetraditionally to modern. Demand of E-resources in libraries is increasing at higher newlinerates. Libraries are acquiring these e- resources to facilitate their users. newlineAs an attempt to contribute to this area, the present study aims to know the newlineavailability and facilities of electronic resources and related services available in the newlinelibraries of State Universities and Technical Institutions of Uttar Pradesh. newlineThe study is organized into five chapters: newlineand#931; Chapter 1: Describes the methodology followed to carry out the study. This newlineincludes definition of terms, objectives, scope, limitations, research design, newlinedata collection method and also data analysis strategy. newlineand#931; Chapter 2: Includes the basic concepts related to the study including newlineintroductory part such as concepts, various definitions and other theoretical newlineframework. newlineand#931; Chapter 3: Review of related literature is discussed in the third chapter. It newlinerefers to various research studies have been carried out in India as well as newlineabroad. The literature review has been taken as base for determining newlineobjectives of the study, developing data collection tools like questionnaire. newlineand#931; Chapter4: Discussed data analysis and data interpretation with the help of newlinetables, charts and graphs.
