Abstract: | Food borne bacterial contamination is one of the leading causes of food illnesses and mortality around the world. For bacterial detection, first the conjugation of AuNRs with glycoconjugates was done to probe its interaction with different bacteria. This lead to colorimetric change and thereafter the targeted hyperthermia was induced by these plasmonic nanoparticles. Further, hybrid nanoparticles have also been prepared to increase the sensitivity and stability of AuNPs. Graphene oxide coating has resulted in the increased limit of detection. The proves that our synthesized nanobiosensor can be utilized for both swift and sensitive bacterial detection along with effective bacterial killing. In addition to this, lateral flow assay has also been developed for the multiplexed bacterial detection in a sample. newline |
