Abstract: | newline Cancer is a deadly disease which is caused due to rampant growth of the cells and forms from the extra mass tissue known as a tumor. Among them, breast cancer is the foremost cause of cancer death in developing countries and the second leading cause of cancer death (following lung cancer) among women in developed countries. Breast cancer is the most repeatedly diagnosed cancer in women worldwide with nearly 1.7 million new cases diagnosed in 2017, accounting for 25 % of all new cancer cases in women. Formulation of HA (or any cancer cell acting ligand) surface modified nanoparticles by co-encapsulation of anticancer drugs such as docetaxel, doxorubicin etc.., with chemosenitizer naringenin will enhance better antitumor effect with minimum side effect of the chemotherapeutic agents. In future by using Hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring polyanionic polysaccharide, present in extracellular matrix, specifically binds to the CD44 receptor, it over expressed in many cancer cells. So, HA can be used as a CD44 targeting vehicles for nanoparticles of anti-cancer drugs there by it target tumor cells and enhance internalization of drug in to tumor cells. The surface functionalization enhances drug release, cell uptake and intestinal absorption. The use of targeting ligands further increased cancer cell specificity and improved the anti-tumor effects of naringenin. This type of formulation of naringenin in future is highly recommended. It will help to achieve the highest sustainable economic growth and improving standard of living in cancer patient in the global with minimaun treatment cost, while maintaining financial stability and thus to contribute to the development of the world economy |
