Abstract: The platelet concentrates has evolved as a promising scaffold over the years. Certain factors such as variations in centrifugation protocol, mode of platelet activation, cellular composition, the influence of immunogenic cells like leucocyte on the regenerative potential of dental pulp stem cells (DPSC s) are unexplored. The current study is aimed at evaluating and comparing the characteristics of the Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) and Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) and their influence on DPSC s. The thesis consist of five objectives that are discussed in chapters 3, 4, 5 and 6.
