dc.description.abstract | The thesis work mainly focuses on the preparation of environment friendly materials stock newlinesuch as manganese oxides, ZnMn2O4/MWCNT nanocomposites, biomass-derived newlinebiocompatible and ultrahigh surface area functional micro/nano materials for various newlineapplications. This thesis also aims to discover the new material processing roots leaving newlineminimum carbon footprint via eco-friendly protocols viz. room temperature synthesis, newlinehydrothermal method, solvothermal method, and high temperature inert atmospheric newlinephysical/chemical activation, respectively. Herein, deep eutectic solvents were utilized as class newlineof green solvent as templating and structure directing agents. Prepared materials were mainly newlineused for energy storage purpose in the form of supercapacitor electrodes and water treatment newlineapplications.
