Abstract: It is often said that an organization is as good as its people. Organization of all types and sizes including government agencies, manufactures, and universities has at least one thing in common that they must employee s competent and motivated workers. This need has become stronger as organization grapple with the presented by a fast paced, highly dynamic and increasingly global economy. To Whom It May Concern: complete and thrive, many organizations have included employee, education, training and development as an important and effective part of their strategy. The main objective of any organization is to achieve the goals/targets for which it has been established. To achieve the goals/targets, the organization has to obtain and utilize the resources in such a way that they could contribute to the maximum. The common factor for all organization is that there are limits of resources and regardless of the size or configuration of the organization; there is always competition for those limited resources. These resources are both human and financial of these, the human resource is much different from physical and financial resource and it is a pivotal variable, without which other resources are ineffective. Hence, human resources are a great asset to any organization, ignoring it can prove to be disastrous. The organization must have a sense, a mission. In other words there must be objectives, goals and strategy for achieving it. newline19 newlinePeter Drucker (1955)1 was the first man who highlighted the importance of organization objectives. He wrote: that and#8215;objectives are needed in every area where performance and results directly and vitally affects the survival and prosperity of the business an objective, a goal, a target serves to determine what action to take today to obtain result tomorrow objectives in the key area are the instruments panels necessary the pilot enterprise without them management flies by the seats of its pants-without landmakers to steers by, without maps, without having flown the root before.
