dc.description.abstractnewline Introduction: Electronic Payment system has made a remarkable growth in newlinethe Indian economy from 8th November 2016, when the Government of India newlineannounced the demonetisation of all Rs.500 and Rs.1000 banknotes of the Mahatma newlineGandhi Series which lead the trajectory for the usage of e-payment system to boost. newlineSubsequently, Reserve Bank of India worked on creating a strong and buoyant newlinetechnology which assured safe and secured digital transactions. This study empirically newlineinvestigates the effect of Information and Communication Technology on usage of newlineelectronic payment system and User satisfaction to ensure a Digital economy. newlinePurpose: A technology innovation to be successful there should a successful newlineinteraction between the user and the Information system. Past studies were about the newlineusage of any one channel of e-payment system among the youngsters. So, a study newlinewhich measure the user satisfaction of Account based e-payment channels such as newlineInternet Banking, Mobile Banking, Mobile wallet and card payment system among all newlinethe age groups were found as a research gap. Therefore, this study is done to find out newlinethe user satisfaction on usage of electronic payment system in Chennai among all the newlineage groups. Further, using the Secondary data from the Reserve Bank of India newlinewebsite, the growth percentage analysis of the methods of fund transfer for the period newline2016 November -2017 October and 2017 November 2018 October is found out, to newlineidentify the growth in the methods of fund transfer. newlineResearch Methodology: The study is based on descriptive research and the newlinesampling technique used is non-probability sampling. 800 questionnaires were newlinedistributed directly among e-payment system users in Chennai. A total of 710 newlinecompleted questionnaires were returned. After Data cleaning 624 data were fit for newlinefurther analysis. newline
