Lung Cancer, a cancer that forms in tissues of the lung, usually in the cells lining air passages, has traditionally been classified into two major types: non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC). About 85 percent of all lung cancers are identified as non-small cell, and approximately 75 percent of these are metastatic or advanced at diagnosis. The treatment and prevention of lung cancer are major needs that can most likely be enhanced by a better understanding of the molecular process in cancer and development of cancer. newlineThunbergia grandiflora, widely known as blue trumpet wine, sky vine or sky flower, is considered to have substantial efficacy against non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC) and antioxidants, owing to the existence of some bioactive compounds such as phenolics and flavonoids. The plant extract has been studied for phytochemical analysis and spectral understanding in present science. Qualitative research has reported significant involvement of phenolic compounds, glycosides, flavonoids, sugars, triterpenoids and steroids of leaves and in ethyl acetate, where sugars and phenols are missing, is found. The complete phenolic compounds and flavonoids in quantities expressed as gallic acid equals and rutin equivalents were also quantitative study. The cumulative phenolic content of ethyl acetate extract was 60.833 in Thunbergia grandiflora and 103.50. Theoverall flavonoid content of ethyl acetate extract from Thunbergia grandiflora was 60.833 and 103.50 for methanol extract. The overall amount of phenolics and flavonoids in methanol extract was highest. Spectral analysis of fractions by IR and NMR Spectra confirm the existence of benzene, hydroxy and methylene protons. Mass spectrum thus shows that the compound may have a quercetin derivative of 4, 5. newlineIn the present investigation, Thunbergia Grandiflora extracts were studied for In-Vitro and In-Vivo anticancer and antioxidant activity. Results were significant. Various parameters like Tumor Yield, Tumor incidence (percentage).
