dc.description.abstractIn today s era security is highly recommended for data transferred over the network. newlineThe research problem states that, although various approaches towards security newlineproposed day-by-day, the security loopholes are also propagating and thus constant newlineinnovation is essential towards the protection of data. The work aims to introduce a newlineselective encryption algorithm for text data encryption termed as Selective Significant newlineData Encryption (SSDE) adding a noteworthy uncertainty to data while encryption newlineand thus boost security. newlineThe proposed work is divided into two separate modules, word selection module and newlinedata encryption module. The Word selection module selects the significant data there newlinein the message from the database. Significant data implies the keyword that holds the newlinemeaning of the entire message. The words in the message go through tokenization and newlinethen categorized as substantial and stop words (commonly used words) by the use of newlineNatural Language Processing (NLP). Excluding significant ones, rest stop words like newlinearticles, pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions, and interjections are dropped and sent newlinewithout encryption. The significant data is sent to the next module for data encryption newlineby Blowfish algorithm and then sent over the network to the destination address. This newlineData encryption module takes input from the earlier module and encrypts the message newlineusing Blowfish algorithm. The algorithm is licensed free. It uses variable length key newlinefrom 32 bit up to 448 bits and has a block size of 64 bit. The method provides newlineefficient encryption and has good throughput. newlineThe proposed Selective Encryption algorithm emphasizes on improving the newlineencryption process regarding processing time and security. Our main aim is not only newlineto send data on the wireless network from one node to another but also to secure the newlinedata from intruders. In Ad hoc network all nodes are capable of performing all tasks newlineon their own.
