Abstract: Mobile Ad hoc Network has gained a wide range of popularity, due to its vast newlineapplication. However, dynamic topology and infrastructure less structure of MANET newlineleads to more consumption of energy. In this research work, we aim to propose Efficient newlinePower Aware Routing protocol. The first proposed algorithm uses the concept of newlineclustering. This protocol will select a path in such a way that it will consume less power newlinethus providing power aware routing protocol by taking concept of clustering. It also newlineaims at providing less number of active nodes when compared to the leach mechanism newlineused in the existing system. This work also aims at providing how a cluster head newlineselection is done in a particular cluster. For the head selection three parameters are newlineconsidered they are remaining energy, minimum mobility and maximum density. In newlinethis algorithm we are assuming that the destination is going to be constant which here newlineis referred as base station. The intermediate node is also assumed to be static. In the newlineproposed algorithm the nodes which are spread around the network are been divided newlineinto clusters. In the cluster the nodes are categorized into three types they are normal newlinenodes, gateway node and the cluster head node. newlineIn the second work, the Fuzzy Logic Technique is used to determine the node newlinestatus in terms of energy and stability of the node before the data packet transmission. newlineThe fuzzy rule includes stability and energy were metrics to determine the node status. newlineEach node estimates its remaining energy after a certain period of time, and updates it newlinein the routing table. The stability of the node is determined by estimating the mobility newlinefactor. After that fuzzy C means clustering is done in order to obtain the best cluster newlineHead which is considered for transmission of the data packets. Hence, nodes keep on newlineupdating about their energy level and stability in the routing table. Clock frequency and power consumption both are important criteria in designing the newlinehosts. Therefore the third work is based on AODV routing protocol with optimization newlineWOA. The PAR protocol can consider every node s power to establish at the time of newlinerouting. Hence, the increased resources of power incorporated in nodes are provided newlinewith higher priority to involve in the process routing. The routing protocol is a newlinefundamental research problem in MANET used for power management. In this work to newlinechoose the routing protocol AODV (Ad-hac On Demand Distance Vector) is optimized newlineby using Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) used for power consumption in the newlineMANET. Performances of several routing protocols have been computed concentrating newlineon parameters various parameters. In this work, an investigation is based on end to end newlinedelay, delivery of packet ratio and throughput, overhead of routing reactive routing newlineprotocol. newline
