Abstract: | Organization behaviour is the study of human interactions with in organization. It examines the knowledge and application of perception, attitude, beliefs and its impact on job performance motivation and work efficiency. Organizational behaviour is a field of study that investigates the impact of individuals, groups at work place, organizational structure and their behaviour within the organization, for the purpose of applying such knowledge towards improving an organizational effectiveness. newlineOrganizational citizenship behaviour is an individual behaviour but not the part of contractual tasks of the employees which affects on organizational effectiveness. It is a voluntary involvement of people with the co-workers, staff and other employees in the organization. Citizenship behaviours are something beyond formal job requirements. It can be seen by the way of employees support others, assist others and help others so that the other members of the organization get benefitted. Organization system most of time ignore these citizenship behaviours. It is the traditional aspect of job performance but it is effective in improving organizational performance. Employees who go the extra mile by actually engaging in behaviours that are not within their contractual part of the job but it effects on task and job performance, called citizenship behaviour. newlineOrganizational commitment is the psychological attachment of people in the organization. It is an employee s level of commitment towards his/her work and dedication to the tasks assigned to them, on daily basis. Organizational commitment plays a pivotal role in determining whether an employee will stay with the organization for a longer period of time and work passionately towards achieving the organization s goals. newlineA lot of people have done numerous researches on the organization behaviour.
