dc.description.abstractMany obstacles occur in the achievement of learners, when they go up in the educational ladder from one level to the other. These create gaps resulting in the dropout rate of students. Children with special needs specially hearing impaired children drop themselves due to these obstacles which create a negative attitude towards learning. newlineThe present study investigated the effectiveness of Multimedia learning on visual attention, academic achievement and positive attitude of hearing impaired students. The participants were 20 hearing impaired students of upper primary classes from Rajkiy Mook Badhir Vidhyalya North Vijaya Nagar Colony Agra. Single group Pre-test Post-test Experimental Design was used to investigate the effect of Multimedia learning on the performance of hearing impaired students. In this experimental phase hearing impaired students were taught using the Multimedia learning based module for 60 days. The study found that there is a significant effect of Multimedia learning on Visual Attention, Academic Achievement and Positive Attitude towards science of hearing impaired students of upper primary classes. Thus these students scored high marks in post-tests as compared to their pre-test scores. Gender was found to have no influence on Visual Attention, Academic Achievement and Positive Attitude towards science of hearing impaired students of upper primary classes. newline newline
