Abstract: INTRODUCTION newlineHealth related physical fitness if a limited aspect of general motor ability. The newlineelement of vigorous physical activity is emphasized for it components. The newlinecomponents are Cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular newlineendurance, muscular power, speed, agility, flexibility and body composition. newlineVariables which contribute to differences in growth parameters include family line newlineheredity, of which race is a part, socio-economic status which encompasses diet, newlinehealth, living standards, and family surroundings climate and emotions. In fact all the newlineextrinsic factors or environment of the child. Growth of an individual child, newlinetherefore, depends upon the interaction of heredity and environment. newline METHODOLOGY newlineThis chapter describes the procedures and means adopted in the study for selection of newlinesubjects, selection of variables (selection of growth and health related parameters and newlineselection of variables related to socio-economic status). Selection of questionnaire, newlinecriterions measures (growth parameters, health related parameters and socioeconomic newlinestatus) reliability and validity of questionnaire, reliability of data (testers newlinecompetency and reliability of the tests, subjects reliability and reliability of the newlineinstruments). Administration of questionnaire and collection of data, scoring of the newlinequestionnaire, administration of test (growth and health related parameters) and newlinecollection of data procedure of tests administration (growth and health related newlineparameters) and statistical analyses. newlineand#61623; Design of the study newlineThe survey type of study were design to find out significant differences between in newlinegrowth and health related parameters in teenaged girls in relation to socio-economic newlinestatus of Punjab (west zone of Punjab). newlineand#61623; Sources of Data newlineThe subjects selected were teenaged girls (14 years to 18 years) studying in newlineMeritorious School of Punjab. The four selected age groups for the present study newlinewere Age Groups I: (14-15 years), Groups II: (15-16 years), Groups III (16-17 newlineyears), Groups -IV (17-18 years).
