A Study of Professionalism and Social Problems of Physical Education and Sports Teachers of Punjab State

Abstract

The present study is entitled A Study of Professionalism and Social Problems of Physical Education and Sports Teachers of Punjab State . The study was delimited to 300 (150 male and 150 female) college teachers were selected from selected college of Punjab with the age group of 30 year onward. The method used for data collection was Standardized questionnaire and the subjects were selected with purposive sampling method. After that the data was analyzed with the help of Z score and t test the following conclusion was made: newline In the physical education and sports teachers of the Punjab, the average category of job activity is very high, below average is less than average, above average is less than below average job activity, high category is less than above average and extremely high and low category job activity is less than high but an extremely low is nil. newline In the physical education and sports teachers of the Punjab, the average category of social problem is very high, above average is less than average, below average is less than above average social problem, high and low category is less than below average, extremely high social problem is less than high and low category and extremely low is less than extremely high social problem category. newline newline
