Abstract: | The study mainly focuses on the factors affecting employee job satisfaction and employee job turnover in private security agencies in Punjab. The study also focuses on the impact of employee job satisfaction on job turnover. The various factors (demographic factors) taking in to consideration to study the employee job satisfaction and job turnover. This research study highlights the factors affecting employee job satisfaction at private security agencies of Punjab, identify the factors affecting employee turnover at private security agencies of Punjab, examine the impact of job satisfaction on employee turnover at private security agencies of Punjab and at last recommend the strategies for effective regulation of job policies and working condition in the best interest of private security firm s employees. newlineThe findings of the study that, there is negative relationship between job satisfaction and job turnover among the employees of the private security agency in Punjab imply that, the greater the job satisfaction the less likely is the job turnover. Thus, a person with a high level of job satisfaction holds positive attitude toward the job, and the person who is dissatisfied with the job holds negative attitude about the job. This implies further that employees who are satisfied on their job will retain their jobs and not leave. Therefore, increase in job satisfaction will result in decrease in employee turnover.
