dc.description.abstractScope and Method of Study newlineThe purpose of this study is to discuss how Robert newlineAnson Heinlein presents the social concerns and newlineestablishes social concerns as a main concept in his newlinenovels. In this process, this study explores the newlineevolution of Heinlein as a scientific novelist, his newlineinnovative approach, use of social problems like newlinereligious, cultural, political, military, and his newlineexploitation of characters and how far his works newlinereflects the American society of his times. newlineFindings and Conclusion newlineA close scrutiny of Heinlein s novels newlinesubstantiates that his novels deal with present and newlinefuture condition of the American society. Heinlein used some social themes like the importance of individual newlineliberty, self- reliance and the obligation individuals newlineowe to their societies, the influence of organized newlinereligion on culture and government, and tendency of newlinesociety to repress nonconformist thought. He also newlinespeculated on the influence of space travel on human newlinecultural practices. Heinlein learned a powerful, newlinedeceptively simple style that combined with newlinetechnological language. newlineThe novel, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, the story newlineof a successful computer- run revolution on the moon, newlinebecame the joy of the New Right and showed Heinlein s newlinetrue political ideas. The central character is drawn by newlinehis previous novels. All the characters have own newlineindividuality. This study shows how American society newlineis affected by the new science and technological newlineadvancement in the twentieth century. America is newlinefollowed only the power of science and technology. They newlineare not care about the peace of American s mind. newline
