There will be a significant difference in activities of daily living newlineamong patients who practice sleep hygiene practices than those newlinewho do not. newlineRelated literature were reviewed and Weidenbach s prescriptive nursing newlinepractice model was used for designing the conceptual framework.. newlineMethodology newlineThe research design adopted for this study was randomized controlled newlinetrial with the components of manipulation, randomization and control. The newlinesample size was 400, with 200 in each group selected through purposive newlinesampling technique. Settings were Sri Ramachandra Hospital, Chennai. The newlineinstruments had 5 parts: Part I - Background and Clinical Variables, Part IIPittsburgh newlineSleep Quality Index (PSQI), Part III - Simplified Psoriasis Index newline(SPASI) and Part IV-Katz and Lawton s ADL scale and Pen_US
