Abstract: | Nowadays, the use of Impact Analysis (IA) as a prime factor to keep up in giving software solution over different phases are becoming an attractive and demanding area of research. Moreover, it offers an exact interpretation of the inference over the implemented modifications and assists the team to form knowledgeable business decisions regarding the applications to approve. As an extension, Change Impact Analysis (CIA) generally has emerged as a technique to discover the prospective effects of the changes or evaluating, what requires to be customized to attain the necessary changes. Furthermore, this research work concentrate on IA that concerns about the necessary modifications within the design definitions and also the risks corresponding to the changes, which involved in the evaluation of consequences of the resources, attempt, and as the schedule is collectively portraying CIA. With the advancements in technology, the CIA improved over time. newlineHowever, challenges such as determining the accurate changes in the software newlinedevelopment phases, evaluating the consequences, etc. limit the performance and reliability of the application. In order to improve the efficiency of the CIA process, this research work is highly focused on certain software development phases where the impact of a change is more crucial in the development of the software. The phases which are being in high intense need in adapting changes are Requirement phase, Design phase, and Maintenance phase. In this work, the research contribution is concentrated on the identified phases. In the progress on reducing the impact load over the requirement phase, this work proposes Impact Transition Model which defines transition structures for impact sequence over the requirements by analyzing the interaction and dependence between them. In continuation of the impact caused by changes in Design phase which is addressed by a Model View Controller pattern with Change Impact (MVC-CI) model. In this work, impacts created over the model component and partially in t |
